I sure did when writing higher self habits!
Now, I'm creating what I wish I'd had—and I'm writing my next book with you.
Real talk: You (probably) have your book idea. You may even have a coach or support to write it. Perhaps you've started writing already. And you just need some peace and quiet—and the time and space to write—without competition from your many other obligations.
If you're a mom, a partner, and/or an entrepreneur, you have a lot of people and projects vying for your attention at all times.
What if you could tune them out and spend five days and four nights making massive progress on your bestseller? And what if you could do it in the highest vibe location in North America in community with other female authors?
In fact, I credit a writers event with starting my book. I tuned out all the noise and walked out of that event with a completed outline. And I would've benefitted greatly from a writing retreat while in the messy middle! That's where this retreat comes in!

Each morning will begin with a healthy breakfast spread (including brain-powering superfoods!), as well as optional yoga flow and quiet time.
We'll open each morning's working session with breathwork.
Whether you want to do yoga, go on a walk, or join us for a hike, we'll get outside and move out any stagnant energy.
Before we turn in each night, we'll have a sound bath, meditation, or guided visualization. This is a great way to wind down, reset, and clear your mind before another inspired day of writing.
After our morning working session, we'll break for a nutritious lunch, meaningful connections, and sunshine.
Note that everything is optional.
This retreat is yours.
All nutritious meals and snacks are included, including beverages.
Note the house will not be stocked with any alcohol or sugary sodas because they're low vibe, and that doesn't mesh with the energy of this retreat.

Whether it's yoga, hiking, sound baths, breathwork, photography, or other surprises I have in store... everything is included, except any shopping you do in town! All you need to do is get yourself there.
Leading up to the retreat, we'll have multiple virtual workshops on topics that will help you write your book. These will be tailored to the group, but expect sessions ranging from using ChatGPT as a research assistant to how to self-edit your book before handing off to an editor.
Different room and bed types will have different fees, and you can decide which works best for you. Room and bed selection will be made in order of deposits received.
Your retreat ticket includes access to the Vox Unlocked Audiobook course! Learn exactly how to turn your book into an audiobook, without forking out thousands of dollars. You can learn more about the course here.
Including me and my incredible editor, Laura Kaiser, who will be providing support onsite, we can have up to 14 of us in attendance.
The deposit is nonrefundable, but you can use it for a future retreat or apply the deposit toward another one of my programs.
If your plans change after your final payment has been made, I will refund the payment made after the deposit if you can find someone to take your place.
Should an emergency prevent you from attending, I'm reasonable and willing to work with you for a mutually beneficial outcome.
That's okay. Perhaps you just need the time and space to explore the possibilities and tap into your creativity.
As I'm writing this, it occurs to me you can write other things with us... like code for a program or app.
Doesn't matter to me, so long as you're attending for focused creative time in community and not viewing this as a girls trip / party weekend.
Note that after putting down your deposit, you'll receive an intake form and will have a welcome call with me and Laura Kaiser, my editor, who will be providing support leading up to the retreat, as well as onsite. Between the two of us, we can help point you in the right direction for next steps and resources to bring your book to life.
Absolutely! Reach out to me here and let's connect.

In short... it's magical. Here are some of the reasons why I knew this retreat needed to be there:
Energy Vortexes: Sedona is famous for its vortexes, which are thought to be swirling centers of energy conducive to healing, meditation, and creativity. These vortexes are believed to amplify the earth’s energy, allowing individuals to feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to their higher selves. Many visitors claim these vortexes stimulate creativity, clarity, and inspiration.
Natural Beauty: The red rock formations in Sedona create an awe-inspiring landscape that naturally encourages creativity. Being surrounded by such raw beauty can evoke deep emotional and spiritual responses, a catalyst for breakthroughs in creative expression.
Spiritual History: Sedona has long been considered a sacred space by Native American tribes, who have regarded the land as holy. The spiritual heritage of the area enhances the feeling of connection to something greater, often encouraging creativity and introspection.
Peace and Tranquility: Sedona’s serene environment, combined with its spiritual energy, provides the perfect setting for quiet reflection and mindfulness. This tranquility might just allow you to tap into your intuition and focus without distractions.
Healing and Personal Growth: The area is known for its wellness retreats, crystal shops, healing centers, and spiritual workshops. It's not uncommon to experience deep personal transformations and healing in Sedona, which can unblock creative energy and open new channels of expression.
The easiest (and likely the most economical) way to get there is to fly into Phoenix Skyharbor (PHX) and rent a car. It's a little less than 2 hours from PHX.
